Just removed mine as it was dead, all of a sudden no windscreen washers.
Wanted to remove it so I could check it on the bench to confirm and get the right part number (4A0955651B). Nice amount of rust coloured dribbles coming from it so no wonder it died! New one ordered for £10, only small headache I can see when fitting the new one is the pipe that goes up to the washers themselves. I suspect at least 8 minutes of swearing when the new pump is installed. |

Just remove the airbox and headlight, unscrew the 3 bolts holding the washer bottle and then its very easy to remove the pump, no need to remove the bumper or inner wheel arch cover, just be carefull when fitting the new pump as the bottom rubber seal can be pushed into the tank
