Oooh. I like that idea!

Must decode and work out what mine is on and then see what I can add in that is cool!

OK... Odd one. I now have an error on my rear doors saying that they are coded wrong, yet I haven't altered them, only the fronts!

Default Seat coding theory ...

The rear doors have a much bigger figure. Also in the extended lights MMI menu, Highway has an led door arc pretty feature which doesn't show up on the front, so I'm thinking it's wrong

Anyone know what their coding is

Coding

+0000001 = Insulated Glass installed (PR-4KV/4KS)
+0000002 = Right Hand Steering (PR-L0R)
+0000004 = Lighting Package (Interior Lighting - PR-QQ1/QQ3)
+0000008 = Lighting Package (Exterior Lighting - PR-QQ2/QQ3)
+0000016 = Synchronous Mirror Adjustment
+0000032 = Air Recirculation Closing active
+0000064 = Electrical Child Safety Lock (PR-GZ2)
+0000128 = Electrical Side Shades installed (PR-3Y8)
+0000256 = Safe Function enabled (PR-A8S)
+0000512 = Folding Mirror installed (PR-6XE/6XF/6XK/6XL/6XS)
+0001024 = Automatic Dimming Mirror installed (PR-6XJ/6XK/6XL/6XM/6XS)
+0002048 = Pinch Protection active
+0004096 = Closing Assistance (PR-GZ2)
+0008192 = Seat Memory Driver installed (PR-3PN)
+0016384 = Seat Memory Passenger installed (PR-3PN)
+0032768 = Child Safety Lock disabled with Door Open

Note: Coding is the sum of the individual options.

From That list i'd say i've got most the options!

Lee
If your coding is 512, you've only got one option - Folding Mirror

To set coding you add all the options numbers together; to decode a number, you keep subtracting the next biggest number below.

e.g. My coding is 26914 on all four seat ECUs. So I subtract:
16384 [Seat memory passenger] giving me 10530
8192 [Seat memory driver] giving me 2338
2048 [pinch protection] giving me 290
256 [safe function] giving me 34
32 [Recirculation closing] giving me 2
2 [Right hand steering] giving 0

So these are the options that are coded [rightly or wrongly] for my doors. If you add these feature codes up you'll see they add up to my coding of 26914

Oh I get the theory. However lack of knowing exactly what each thing does and what the car actually has is a bit of an issue!

+0000002 = Right Hand Steering (PR-L0R)
+0000004 = Lighting Package (Interior Lighting - PR-QQ1/QQ3)
+0000008 = Lighting Package (Exterior Lighting - PR-QQ2/QQ3)
32 = Air Recirculation Closing active
+0000256 = Safe Function enabled (PR-A8S)
+0000512 = Folding Mirror installed (PR-6XE/6XF/6XK/6XL/6XS)
+0001024 = Automatic Dimming Mirror installed (PR-6XJ/6XK/6XL/6XM/6XS)
2048 = Pinch Protection active
+0008192 = Seat Memory Driver installed (PR-3PN)
+0016384 = Seat Memory Passenger installed (PR-3PN)

Is what was coded for the rears....

I certainly have the twin pane glass is thats what is insulated so that's also wrong?

I don't see what that coding was working on the rears before, but changing the fronts to it cause on error on the rears that wasn't there before!

*Lightbulb moment*

Those PR-*** are the build codes
http://igorweb.org/equidec.aspx

Eg QQ1 = With additional lights (interior lighting)

However interestingly

L0R = Right-hand drive vehicle

Which I don't have....yet i'm sure it's a right hand vehicle etc
I have a feeling that these codes are US based or Ross Tech is, and that standard equipment varies!

Oh and from before Pinch Protection is on the windows, reverse the motor if it feels too much load so you dont accidentally trap something in the windows!
