Nice kit
£100 seems to be a little expensive.
I wasn't after very bright interior and I used them all over the car with no problems so far 18months later.
Fifth of the cost and it does the job very well.
They don't flick after this time, they dim as the halogen ones when going off

One thing I haven't changed are footwell leds as the OEM ones are bright enough for me and I don't want the car to lit up like a football pitch flood light

But it's a personal choice as always, my mates 8 lits up like you would launch a rocket inside his car each time you open and he loves it and thats what matters.

Looks like your guy knows what he is doing..again, a very nice kit mate

The LEDs he supplies are designed by him for Audis.
Each LED is designed to send most of the light the correct way out of the lens.
Where LEDs are more directional lighting then normal bulbs, most of the lighting can be lost.

If you fitted the 70p LEDs to the doors, 6 out of the 8 LEDs are facing the wrong way and the light is getting lost. Same with the map reading lights.
They will work fine for the normal roof lights but the rest they just seem a waste.

The interior is bright but not blinding.

The old footwell lights was pathetic I thought, not really lighting up the floor.
The new ones makes a massive difference, I can actually see how dirty my feet was the last time I got in the car.

Interior lights are easier to do than the exterior lights cause they have no bulb warnings.
These still dim which is good. I would not want to lose that.

Does anyone have any idea if the D4's LED's would fit the D3?

Would be interested to know if you could retrofit some OEM+ goodness into the D3...

The ones from the roof lining behind the sun flaps from the D4 fit the D3 but they are not a great shade of white.

I've bought a few LEDs from Trups, not a whole kit. Can't wait to try them out.
