Default Soft Close Doors

The N/S/R door refuses to soft close and won't lock from it's own button.

There is no fault in Vag Com (VCDS) either.

Anyone know if this could be a simple fix?

It could be..

Or it could be a nightmare

You'd maybe need to check the inside of the door for a loose connection. The door skin is a bugger to get off, needs some serious tugging.

Yea, could be but why doesn't it show as a fault? I'm too old to dick about trying to fix things other than a fuse.

I've got extended Audi Guarantee so probably use that.

Cheers, Psyche.

Funnily enough that door started working again.

It 'soft closes' however the lock button still doesn't work!

Time to get rid and go back to RR or Merc? Maybes aye and maybes naw!
