So, here are a few photos to tempt those that haven't signed up yet and to give those that have a taster for 'the route' in June.
As you can see from the first picture, I was feeling a bit rough and was pretty mad that David & Brian hadn't got me a pint , but we did call in at my personal Bothy (as signed on the door in the second photo)!  All photos were taken on our trip and I'm sure a few of you will recognise some of the landmarks.

Current mods: solar sun roof, 20mm rear spacers, 15 mm on front, red brembo callipers, 6k headlights, rear view camera, engine remap, alloy dash dial rings, alloy navi rings, tt/phaeton pedal upgrade, (and custom matching foot rest) dension ipod interface & parrot hands free kit (both fully hidden), av input, tv in motion switched thro' PF switch in blanking plug right of steering column, Audi 'quattro' sill covers, repositioned centre console switches, radio clock, .Planned mods: auto-dimming rear view mirror, dash cam (as steamship's), fit the ski hatch, refit philips drl's (or maybe not - nope, definitely not - horrible botch!).

OMG, so many memories, I know the landmarks very well. Used to I was driving this route every 2-3 months for weekend getaways (9h drive one way each time) just to reset my brain, phone off, no emails, letters just peace and quiet.
Can't wait for it !!!!

Hello all,
Sorry I've been off the radar for a long time. Still got my '8 and still having a view on the forum from time to time. Just been busy with the more mundane aspects of life I'm definitely interested in coming on the meet. I just need to make sure that I can clear the time away with family / work commitments. Will try to firm that up and let you know. To save me reading through the full 18 pages of the post, can someone tell me if there is a deadline for letting you know if I'm coming or not? I get the issue about hotels and will start work on that myself. Quote:
