Anyone have issues communicating with the instrument cluster?

Fitted clock module last night and tried channel 19 adaptation thru obd11.
Would either give me a 'module not responding, check ignition'
On the couple of occasions it let me in, it would sit for ages, eventually giving me a time out error before showing the code

Thoughts?

Check in ELSA adaption channel for your car.
Can be different for older cars.
Also, use latest VagCOM version.

Just wondering if anyone else has lost their radio clock signal in this weather?

Mine disappeared a few days ago and I noticed that a radio-controlled wall clock in our house is showing the right minutes but wrong hour!

2003 D2 FL S8. Irish Green Pearl/Beige. Solar sunroof, auto-dim mirrors, electric rear seat functions, ski hatch retrofit; extended leather. Aftermarket DVB-T, reversing camera and full XCarlink (Bluetooth etc.).
2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation". (A much rarer model than a D2 S8 by the way!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!
Finally: gone, but not forgotten.....
1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors.
e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)
1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon, Auto-dim mirror, Leather, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer.
And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

2002 Final Edition S8. Ebony black with Silver Grey leather and myrtle wood trim.
Current mods: solar sun roof, 20mm rear spacers, 15 mm on front, red brembo callipers, 6k headlights, rear view camera, engine remap, alloy dash dial rings, alloy navi rings, tt/phaeton pedal upgrade, (and custom matching foot rest) dension ipod interface & parrot hands free kit (both fully hidden), av input, tv in motion switched thro' PF switch in blanking plug right of steering column, Audi 'quattro' sill covers, repositioned centre console switches, radio clock, .
Planned mods: auto-dimming rear view mirror, dash cam (as steamship's), fit the ski hatch, refit philips drl's (or maybe not - nope, definitely not - horrible botch!).

I've one of those Junghans radio controlled watches....right minutes, 3 hours behind at the mo.
Display warning no communication for 4 days

Both my car clock and house wall clock got a signal and are correct today.
I still think the weather has played a part, disrupting the signal.

Note that the newer "Radio" clocks work on a higher frequency than the first ones. Here in England Rugby Clock is the best to use.
I don't have one in the Audi but my house clocks and my watch are keeping correct Date/Time with Rugby. I also have a travelling alarm clock that is tuned to Germany and that is still correct.

Interesting (or not?) little footnote to this after a long thread snooze.....
The other day my S8 didn't want to start, it hasn't been used much lately, just the odd short run at night, and the battery wasn't quite up to starting. It turned over sluggishly then gave up. Down to about 12v when tested afterwards.

After an overnight on the battery charger it was fine, but the dash clock had decided to reset back to 1999. (Cue: Prince https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rblt2EtFfC4 )
I just left it to resync via the radio receiver but when I next used the car it was an hour ahead, so either on BST or more likely CET.
Easy enough to adjust by an hour with the little menu control by the handbrake, but I can't recall if this is normal? I'm pretty sure it sorts itself out in Spring and Autumn when the clocks change.
