The problem is not WBAC!!!
This is so true. People think their cars are mint, and the options to describe damage doesn't apply to them. Then they get all upset when it starts dropping 50 quid a wheel for a refurb and £200 quid a panel for a respray which is quite reasonable imo.

All WBAC care about is the paperwork, service history (right number of stamps in the book) and visual appearance of the car. They don't do any mechanical checks, but will check things like Sat Nav Cd/DVD are in. As long as it limps in, and looks as described, they'll pay out. I took a car in once, described it pretty accurately, and the guy consolidated a lot of the damage into cheaper options, eventually paying me more than quoted. Couldnt fault it.

They are desperate for my Tesla..... Still offering me 3K less than I paid for it 2 years and 16K miles ago. But, theres still no other car I'd rather have, so im sticking with it....
