Sport seats that bolts in the d2

My a8 had the fully electric leather comfort seats.

Since i am replacing the engine in my car and deleting the ac i wanted sportier seats.
So i wanted cloth, sporty, Lighter and manual seats.

Due to the mounting points in the a8 is totally different to any other vag cars, i started considering bucket seats and making my own seat brackets.

However i had this feeling in the back of my head that i had seen very similar mounts somewhere before.

Short story bmw has almost the excact seat mounting...

All i needed to do to bolt in the seat was to grind off about 4 mm of the rear holes. (bmw has longer spacing between the holes)
Side to side the holes match excact.

Replaced the bmw connector for the adjustable side supports and did the same with the side airbag connector. Airbag is within the accepted resistance range so no issues there.

Really good for spirited driving while still being comfortable.
