Default Fan Style Jets

I used my wipers and jets for the first time last night and was shocked that they was jets instead of fans.
My Dad's 03 plate Touareg has vans and our old 206 had fan style washer jets.

Did the A8's come with fan jets or can they be added?
The waster pistol style ones are crap in comparison.

As far as I know 8's did not come with fan jet nozzles. You can try to get some from Golf or Passat and see if they fit or can be modified to fit.

This is something I have been thinking to do for my D2 but have not got around it.

There is an upgrade from 4 jets to 6 which costs about £28.
Fan jets are not a straight swap some A4 owners modified them to fit, don't know about A8, but I agree they are like something off a 1980's Polo.

I'll get my ETKA working, check part numbers and take one off.

Going by the links they look the same.

I'll try and pick some up somewhere and take a look.

Thanks.

I bought some new fan style washer jets off ebay to have a play with. I got the ones without the heating elements cause they was cheaper.

I stripped the jets down.

When I got home I took the water pistol jets out and compared sizes.

They are to small.
Bugger.

I can glue them on to the bonnet, I might be able to strip the old jets out and glue the new jets in.
Or just give up and find some that clip in.............I might go with that one.

What's the part number of the ones you got?
I might try Skoda Superb's and compare but not if P/N is the same.
