Default Plastic panels

Are there any plastic panels on the D3? I have been cleaning the road tar off the sills and they are flexing as if they are plastic..

Yeah they are plastic covers, I had to buy one for my silver D3 , it fell off the jack, the jack went straight through it
£90 from Audi each side

It seems they have suffered quite badly from stone chipping. I thught it was road tar, but not the case unfortunately. The list of jobs on the bodywork is growing....
