Thanks Nick. Some more determined Googling turned up that the badge font is a derivative of a font called 'Eurostile'.

Updated logo pending...

Eurostile won't render properly in Fusion360

You could also try AudiTypeVariable in Fusion, which is very similar to your original font... although I do like the clear lines of Eurostile. I had to cheat with the 3D look.

Hi Michaela
Is this the type of thing you are looking for (don't miss the pun
The whole thing is infinitely variable so if you have anything in mind, let me know. I can use different fonts, change the spacing between the letters (kerning), alter the finishes to characters and the boxes. Also the angles of the boxes. Anything really.
I have dropped the text towards the bottom of the box to reflect the way Audi present S8 in their badges. But, whatever you want just say.
If you have Photoshop I can send over the PSD file if you'd like to have a play

That looks like the dogs wotsits
If there was a call for a (discrete, naturally ) external stick on badge I wonder what the cost would be getting it done by folk such as:

https://www.carbadgeuk.co.uk/custom-...mblems_bespoke

They do say they do low minimum orders but, of course, not many have been "doctored" so far .
I also appreciate the fact that many wouldn't be in favour of such a showy, non OEM thing and would rather have a window decal.

Very much that sort of thing yes I have the artistic talents of a brick so I have CAD software rather than Photoshop. I am currently fighting Fusion360's user-hostile rendering engine trying to get a nice quality version of this:

but no matter what I do with texture and lighting, it flatly refuses to put any highlights on the side of the lettering, despite it being configured for polished aluminium the same as the top of the lettering

Now that's impressive, could you 3D-print that in different coloured plastics?

No need to shade the sides of the letters in that case obviously.....

And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

I printed the speaker badges on the previous page, but they were using the Audi font. They were printed in silver, sprayed black, then sanded back to reveal the silver letters. The red diamond is nail polish.

Theoretically I could print a black base, switch to silver filament for the lettering, and then just paint the red diamond.

As it stands I'm probably better off printing one and taking a photo of it than trying to get Fusion to work properly

I used the exact same solution to "refresh" my original steering wheel badge.

Though I expect Beverley doesn't have quite the same spectrum of red talon paint available as you, dare I say?
