Yes, predictably, here is the poll to see what D3 toys are at the top of everyone's money no object shopping list.

I've summarised some options a little, but still the list is impressively more substantial than the D2 one.

i ticked tow bar as well.(i have a factory tow bar fitted) use it at least 3 times a week as kids want their bikes picked up. great option on a non estate car.

i cannot understand why there are more votes for ACC then for heated seats!!!
i have both in mine and i know which i tend to use more often

Trailer of rubbish, boat, bikes and possibly other cars. not done that bit yet.

I've got the towbar but as a newbie to the 8 have not used it yet 😎😎 and yes I did vote for it!

An 8 is a brilliant tow car, tow car of the year i reckon, what year? every year.

to be honest i ticked quite a few of those boxes when i factory ordered mine in 2008 (see below)

but i wish id had

ACC
Side assist
4.2tdi engine

trouble is that would have pushed up the price to around £70k
i drew a line at £60k

Interestingly lots of those 'options' were standard equipment here and some of our options were missing.

All Aussie A8's got;

Adaptive lights;
Advanced key;
Sunroof;
Bluetooth;
Nav;

And 4.2 cars;
(only the petrol V8's were released here originally - Cheers cheap fuel)
added TV;
comfort seats;
comfort armrests;
fingerprint start;
interior light package.

We then had to pay for all the other options and;

Exterior light package;
auto lights and wipers;
Extended aluminium Interior package.
Voice control.

Would have been easier to ask which ones do you NOT want, most A8s have half off the list so choosing 5 is like choosing which fingers not to cut off.

Mine is pretty well spec'd anyway so if I ordered one new I'd have what I've got plus ventilated seats (don't think I've ever seen cooled seats on an S8?), the massage seats aren't all that and I'm not bothered for 3G MMI but I'd also like lane assist and side assist, the latter not being difficult to retrofit.

A nice exclusive paint colour would be good as well.
