D2FL 2.8 front o/s wheel bearing housing
Greetings,
4D0407254 My existing one snapped in/by the local garage. If I can't find another the old girl goes to the great car park in the sky. Even A8Parts can't supply and don't want the car for breaking. One possibly available in Slovakia at an unpleasant price. I wait for info. Any bright ideas? (and thanks already to Ronin) Chris

Guessing they pounded on the pinch bolt until they smashed the upright apart? Got any pictures of the damage? Sometimes they can be welded but it depends how broken it is.
Assuming you can find another one, if they haven't destroyed the other side yet it might be better to take it off complete with the arms and post it to me to get the pinch bolt out. Since the garage broke it through incompetence I presume they are paying for the replacement, in which case a new one ought to be in order.

Pondering options... I may be able to put my hands on a set of steel uprights which would be compatible, just needing new lower arms.
