Just wanted an update on your 8 with its control arms?

Done over 5,000 miles since putting them on (did a long road trip to the continent). Drives beautifully - kicking myself for not doing them earlier.

Looking back, I wish I'd done the ARB too though I don't get any crunching - just preventative given the assembly was off anyway.

Just wanted to revive an old thread. My car makes crunching noise at front when it’s very cold mornings. Does that mean my ARB are shot?

My 8 did from the day I bought it and I thought it was the ARB bushes but I replaced two drop links last year and the noise stopped.

A cheap fix for once
