I was thinking on doing ether full FOX system, just a Remus rear or making the whole thing my self with some stainless mufflers from magnaflow with seprate right/left exhaust.

I'm in two minds about the Milltek. I haven't driven the car much since it was installed (working and living in London - car in kent), but it kind of sounds like a cross between a Mustang and a Range Rover.

I'm not sure that it suits the car.

I guess the exhaust note will change with use?

Well it has changed a little. I am now of the opinion that this is one of the best mods I have done to the car

It would be interesting to know what this and the ITG air filter have done to the BHP - if anything?

As others have said... Milltek all the way

ive done 5000 miles since fitted my milltek, i ve just removed both cats and installed a bmc air filter, well impressed with results

Milltek on mine sounds lush - nice Bbbrrrmmm on start up (inner child in me!) and a burble at idle - never sounds silly. On the motorway there's just a slight burble of exhaust noise trailing behind the car

sounds nice in vid even though no compression on one cylinder, due to pieces of top of piston cracked off.

Good to hear that the Miltek is a favorable choice. Im looking out for one too.
I had one on my RS2 and it sounded perfect.

There is also a company in Devon called Phoenix Exhausts that can make some pretty cool bespoke systems.

They made a 3" system for my S2 and i was very pleased with it.
