Default Rolling Road Day

Who would be up for this? There has been a few RS rolling road days in the past, there is a big scandal that B7 RS 4s only make around 350BHP at the wheels, some even less. I think it Would be quite interesting to compile a list of what our 8s can do? It could even be used in that data collection exercise. The average BHP produced..

I understand it can be a little tricky in an automatic but if we get enough interest we might be able to negotiate a good deal with a rolling roader. I want to go for a remap from Shark Performance and an X pipe and dual outlet exhaust so would want to get some 'Before & After Figures' . I reckon with exhuast, remap, better airflow system I could brush 380 BHP..?

If anyones interested could you please pop your name down below.

Default Count me in

Always a good day out, and will be interesting to see the results. As you say, the automatics can be difficult to get right for accurate measurements but a good rolling road should know how to deal with this.

Where did you have in mind? Somewhere 'central' would be preferable.

(might bring the S4 along too just to see what she's pushing out these days)

Clive, it would be intresting to bring that along. If we get a list of people intrested and locations then we can work out somewhere central? So maybe we could add location to our names? Anyone any recomendations for rolling roads?

Default Good idea

2. CliveH - 2002 S8, West Yorkshire

The only rolling roads I've been to have been in the north west and darn sarf, so not very central but there is one near you, Amar, which could be quite central depending on who wants to join in.

Sounds like a plan Aiden, as I doubt we'll get enough numbers of 8's to get a sensible price.
