Default Diesel at 82p a litre....

Including road tax,...

That's France right now, given the current exchange rate.

We're out here in the Limousin/Dordogne and it's even cheaper than normal. Last time we we here, last summer, was in my old A2 TDi and even given the A8's thirst for the heavy oil, the fuel costs will hardly break the bank.

Sickening!
I get mine from here since November.
http://premiumbiodiesel.co.uk/index....odiesel-prices
It has just gone up 5p from the low of 89p for bio and 99p for diesel.
The diesel is ~15p/l less than the average local price which shows what the markup must be.
The gypsy juice is tempting.

Ha.

I'm bringing a tanker full home with me. Wish that biodiesel operation was nearer to me at home. Is it safe with the A8s, yeah?

I already had to trim the innards of my DPF years ago so that blocking is not an issue.
I mix it 50:50 in the colder bits of winter 2:1 in the not so cold.
100% bio at the moment and it runs quieter and smoother than diesel but it is slower to fire up when cold - about 2-3 more cranking on 100% bio compare to 100% diesel.
Hopefully it won't be an issue in summer.
At the end of the day, it's nearly 10 years old and doesn't owe me much so I don't mind being a guinea pig.
