Question Exclamation Mark warning light on hard acceleration...?

.....I'm getting the red warning light on hard sudden acceleration, often with (at the same time as) a sudden hard steering input.

It seems to be getting worse.

Any ideas? Coolant level is fine.

+1 for low brake fluid on warning light and maybe low power steering fluid as well for the hard steering input.

Thumbs up

Well well well......brake fluid on minimum. Just topped up, and will take for a spin. Just about to have my callipers refurbished, so I'll check for leaks then, but never experienced dropping brake fluid before.....weird.

Anyone else?

Hi your brake pads maybe very worn and the pistons are further out that's where your fluid is! When you put new pads in you have to push the pistons back. Your fluid goes back up! Or you have a leak!
Good luck dave

Front offside has been binding again, and has warped a disc (again...) and that's what's forcing me to refurbish rather than clean up. Can't believe that explains all of the fluid loss.....strange. Rear pads need replacing. I'll have a closer look at the weekend.

Thanks for your help folks.
