the a8 is too wide to wrap in one sheet sadly as i was going down this road and there would be a seem down the centre of the roof and i resprayed it instead, much better option and paint is better to maintain, ie you can buff out swearl marks ect from paint but not from a wrap so although its a good idea in principal its not by any means practical or long lasting, seems the easy option to wrap but its just as time consuming to get right as a full spray job and there in only pounds between prices and paint jobs last for many years

I fancy a wrap on my D4, to the Audi Quartz Grey and with the car already being "Oolong Grey", plod might not have an issue with it if checked on the PNC as it has the word grey in it - albeit, in the right light, Oolong Grey looks black.

I just wonder if the pearl/metallic is there - it can't look as good can it? The metallic fragments in the paint reflect and bounce light - how can that be replicated in a wrap I wonder? Or, do wraps merely come in solid or Matt colours?

The D4 looks good in white - there's a 3.0Tdi in white in Wolverhampton Audi - not convinced that's the colour for me though...

the D4 looks good on the road in lighter colours - ive seen plenty of silver ones which look great in London. Quartz grey is a great colour, but why would you wanna wrap a newish car - isnt it better to just find one in a colour you like?

sorry, ruining a great car with a wrap, which I wouldn't touch with a bargepole anyway, is nuts.

Costs a fortune, and ruins the paintwork when you remove it
