Brake Bulb Out Warning
I have a weird one , as well as a weird fault
 Last night I started the car, all was good until I pressed the brake pedal , up came the brake bulb out warning ( yellow with pads around a bulb) so I used my walking stick to press the brake while I checked which one was out, to my surprise all of them were ok, including the 4 in the high level. Has anyone had a similar issue before ? I am wondering if one of them is ready for failing and is giving a different resistance reading to the other one, but from looking at the light given they both look the same . I have ordered a new pair just to rule them out.

Sometimes filaments can fail then fuse back together temporarily.
I'd just swap the main bulbs over and see if that triggers anything; not sure the high-level light is part of the monitoring. Any petrol station "ought" to have standard bulbs on the accessory shelf; last time (and it was long ago) that warning came on for me I happened to be in Inverness and bought a new bulb for not a lot at a garage on the Milburn Road.

And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

Could be the connection itself where the bulb is mounted.
check that and the plug in to the light unit. pretty much anything around the light area to give a dodgy reading.

Check your brake fluid level in the reservoir. Pretty sure that light comes on when it's low. If your pads are very, very warn, and the fluid level is on the limit, may be enough to trigger the light when you depress the pedal.
