iPad help needed
As you know I am in fairly darkest India atm. Angla managed to loose her iPad on te plane journey! We have been lent an Ipad 2 that has been in a cupboard for a long time but with a charge it fired up ok. I returned it to factory and set it up with Angela's apple i.d. all fine so far. Went to download her Apps and got a message saying some of them wont run below ios 7 (its at ios 4) so it needs updating to ios 9. I downloaded the latest iTunes. Plugged in the iPad and backed everything up. Started the update so as to maintaimned data and it's stuck. Ipad screen just shows the USB lead, and and arrow pointing to itunes and every time I get to the point where is says it is waiting for the iPad, the Ipad switches itself of, iTunes shows a fault saying it can connect to the iPad and throws and error 9!
Any ideas? I have fully charged it and tried 3 usb leads. Every time I plug it into the laptop it recognises it, starts iTunes and starts the process but now it says it has to restore to facory and update ios.
