Vibration in steering wheel from about 50 upwards
Hi have a problem with my a8 when I go above about 50 mph.....I get vibration in the steering wheel....
I thought the wheels needed balancing lbut had this done and still getting the vibration sensation....I will get the wheel balance double checked....but was wondering what else could cause this sensation.... any ideas would be appreciated... I dont know if this would be plausible....I pulled the abs sensor on the driver side and it was covered in dirt and rust....could a bad hub bearing or driveshaft cv joint cause this problem |

Come try my wheels on the car see if that helps, could be one of yours is buckled? Your front suspension all seems fine as per Ben's inspection huna

Just wanted to say Singh was on the money.....my passenger wheel alloy was buckled....
Couldn't tell by looking at it....but when i swapped it with my spare.....the car was so much smoother....and i was feeling the bumps alot less and the vibration pretty much all gone..... |
