Just got these in the post...i'm so excited i might wet myself! ... they're the proper US ones which i've been after a while. I had a set secured last april but it was lost in transit from Canada I then lost out on an eBay.de auction a while back and it's taken this long to find another set.

Ian - should it not be a yellow bulb with the red cluster to make an amber light? (see colourwheel here)

I believe the rear lamps are made by Bosch if so their part number will be on the lamp as well as the Audi part number it's a 10 digit number beginning with 0319 which means you should be able to get them from a motor factor that sells Bosch parts and it will be cheaper than Audi. If someone can get me the Bosch part number off the US spec lamps if there is one, I may be able to find out price and availability as I work for a motor factor in South Wales.

That would be good A8 3.7 but I think that they come with the exact same part number as the UK ones. Can you confirm Oli?

Hi A8 3.7 - unfortunately no Bosch numbers on the clusters....just the audi part numbers

4D0 945 095 B
4D0 945 096 B

They are the same numbers as the EU 'pink' parts we get over here though...

I've put the other side on tonight and i haven't changed the bulbs yet....they look brilliant flashing in red...so tempted to keep them. What are the odds i'll get pulled over?!

I'll probably have to change them soon.

Still trying to figure out if i need green or yellow bulbs...though...can anyone confirm? Ian mentioned green but I always thought that green and red turn it into brown and i'm thinking i need a yellow bulb as yellow and red make amber

Thoughts

^^^ wot he said - The normal lens has the green bit in, so you just use a normal yellow bulb.

Aside from that, I'm not 100% sure that an indicator has to be orange?

We have loads of Americans nearby due to an army base, and they pottle around in their yank-wagons with UK plates and red blinking lights....

As long as you make it clear you're turning, I'm not convinced it really matters how you do it...

Not sure about hazard warnings though...
