security code

I need to enter one of my controlers using vag-com but i require a security code. Does anybody know how i would find this code ?

which controller are you trying to access???

The only code i know of is the pin code for the ecu when you want to make extra keys and stuff like that...forget the name

There are several login codes for different units and several levels of codes, some allow doing one thing others several things. Some of the codes are on the ETKA, others can be found on the net and some are retrieved from dealers servers but dealers do not supply them to general public.

i am looking for the security code when using vag-com that allows me access to the fingerprint controler. i wish to reset it because it contains all the details of the previous owner including his passwords that he cant remember

Sorry meant to say ElsaWin.

Could not find anything regarding fingerprint sensor on Elsa. Might be dealer/authorised independent only since it is security feature but you can try searching on the net. Also some functions were migrated to VAS-PC from Elsa in newer cars so it might be there. I am looking to buy a VAS5054A clone to use with VAS-PC but not sure how to choose a good one as flashing work on some clones and not on others so not using VAS PC now and cannot check.
