It's good advice. I would love to get my car done just so I could watch and have a base line to work to in the future. It takes me a day, twice a year (end of summer, start of winter). Takes me a full 10 hour day to do a strip, clay, machine polish, seal, glaze and wax. The inside and engine about half a day and the wheel wells a day! But I love it . Yes I do have OCD!

1998 1.8T A4 Avant FWD. Ming Blue (there's a theme here), PEX for the 97 S8.
And a list of non VAG going back 40 years before I saw the light.

First bit to say is how much is the book u going to use so i can buy all the tickets lol.
if it took place at the venue i told A8_Tony about u dont need genny or anythink can sort electric hook up on hard standing but u might need some cover for outside incase we have a good uk summer (cpl of gezebos) how ever u spell it

Where is it taking place then Mike, Billing?
Also A8 owner does have a point about power & H2O supply; if its a prof detailer then he'll have all th rest including a gazebo. What I'm think of is getting a couple of light and dark scrap panels and applying some diffrent polishes & LSP's and bring them along to the meet.
Also my car is two tone right now white over silver:

I've not decided on the Annual Meet location as yet, as I'm awaiting some info from a couple of e-mails I've sent out. Once these come in, the decision will be made Hopefully not too long now

Bill,

Unless you can see undercoat and feel the scratches with your nail as you GENTLY drag it across the paint there is a good chance it could be recovered.
