So as you can see by the donuts thread Ive been out playing in the snow and with Tobes in attendance the conversation got onto Quattro in the Torsen diffs.
Does anyone know what changes there were and when regarding the diffs on our cars. As both my cars is early 95/96 they don't have traction control. Does this mean that they have The Type 1 torsen system or the type 2 as the type 2 appears to use the traction control to bias the power left to right.
Tobes is under the impression that we have a torsen centre diff and both front and rear open diffs.
The Torsen site has a cross in the type 1 and type 2 on the application chart.
