Default some picture of my gearbox I hope you never have to see yours like this

I went over to the gearbox place today.

Oh man, there's a bit more to these things than a few cogs! Lots of swarf on those magnets too, not good for a reconditioned box. I take it it's stripped ready for new parts to be fitted? Hope this turns out well as it looks pretty clean otherwise.

yep, new pump there alreday, TC away being recon'd.

It has to be completely cleaned to get rid of the HMP Grease(The red stuff on his finger) thats all over teh inside of the box. The new flex plate is on order( i thought I may as well get it changed whilst its out.

Hopefully should be back together by next weekend.

He's going to do a full report so I can try the trading standards/small claims court side of things to try and get some money back.

Thanks for posting the photos - Its much appreciated. Whilst we, here at A8 parts see all these bits day in day out, I know how truely fascincating it is for others to catch a glimpse of what makes the D2 tick
