Yep.. The ventilated seats have little pinprick holes in them.. Onnly problem is, they don't seem to wear as well, seem to be prone to stretching.

Any friends of mine that have had ventilated seats have regretted it. They always either got damaged or started looking raggedy after a couple of years where the holes stretch as per PsYcHe's post.

Mine has the Comfort seats with the additional pillows too, I can only see them listed for the rear seats in the brochure, so I don't know how they were added to the front of my car unless they chose to fit rear ones to the front instead (at £425/pair for exclusive or £120 each for standard they are not exactly priced to sell )

Could not agree more. the sports seat in my S8 are SO comfortable for long distance or throwing it around a bit. I just did over 1200 miles in one week from north of Glasgow to Poole and Isle of Wight. I had torn a back muscle before I went and after spending a few days on my feet at meetings the ONLY place i felt comfortable and without pain when i was travelling between meetings was sat in the car with seat heater on!

Dealer said they are 'comfort head rests' and are pictured in the sales brochure "from march 2008" on sport & SE seats, on my car they are only fitted to the fronts the picture on page 12 shows them in the rear as well, read the text its electric ajustable outer rear seats 4 seat variant that has them.(No fronts pictured at all, only these rears are mentioned in the may 2007 brochure), page 14 show a 2 colour :light grey/dark grey sport seat with them on in the front.
The leather is perforated like a merc with vertical vents on the back either side of the map pocket.
Really comfortable just been on holiday down to St Raphael in France then over to Peschiera del Garda in Italy then back via the Gottard pass (over the top) Mulhouse, Reims and the Chunnel to home, Vented seat are a treat, 4 Zone works well and the solar roof does a great job in 30+ degs of heat. Brilliant car
