OK, so I assumed the car had Bose. It doesnt. Not sure if that is a good / bad thing as I want to 'fix' the audio anyways. If its default standard, it might be easier to do. Im getting a lot of rattle with any bass in the car, it seems like the speakers are struggling or something else vibrating.

Does anyone know the 'specs' of the subwoofer (if it can be called that) in the parcel shelf?

Interesting, I have a separate level for 'subwoofer'. This why I believed it to be Bose. I read some threads and it seems the subwoofer setting is not available, unless Bose. All very confusing.

I have a decent DLS amp, Ill be putting my 10inch CDT sub in the car and then pick up the high level inputs from the input to the crap sub in the car. That may improve things already.

Some inspiration from here:-

To retrofit the gear change paddles, do I need a wheel with them or can the paddles themselves be retrofitted?

If the paddles can, how difficult is this to do and any coding / wiring changes on the car?

Thanks

In my case I swapped the wheel for another upgraded one that had the paddles already so I guess you'd need to source a second hand wheel
