I can't stand stuff not working, like your self I'm very fussy about certain things.

My mechanical conscience won't let things like that be, if it is not working 100% then it has to be sorted.

I think most of us on here are them same with these cars, as it's evident when the fully loaded adverts get posted and get torn apart by the members

I will never get back what I spent on the car but as long as I own it it better be perfect.

Default Wheels refurbed

Well after some time I finally got my centre caps back from the wheel refurbers.

Not entirely happy about the colour match to the wheel and may take them back and get them done again.

The centre caps were pretty faded so hade the centres done in graphite and the outside done in matching platinum silver

As you can see in one of the pics the chrome parts are removable and are carefully pushed out from the back.

I had new tpms sensors and valves fitted along with new tyres so they should be good for some time now.

Finished off with Audi valve caps

They are the original 20" wheels from the S8 sorry don't know part numbers.

The refurb of the wheels to have them stripped and powder coated plus the centre caps done was £260.

The finish is Platinum Silver and is done by powder coating the wheels in black, then finishing with silver spray over the black.

They look very nice Del, could you post a pic of the car with them on so I can see the full effect? I need to get mine done and was thinking of going with something other than standard. You happy with them?

Nice job with the wheels and in refurbing the caps but it does look like the wheels are more "chromey" than the caps

I think they look stunning in that colour and set the the car off with out being out of balance with the rest of the car if you know what I mean.

Yes Neil I too think they got it wrong, in some angles they look the same but in the pics they don't so I will go past them next week and see what they say...

I will get a pick up the morn of the whole car if the weather permits

Sun was out today so the bird strike got washed off and I dusted off my dslr for the first time in over two years, and took a few pics.
