FL A8 radio aerial
when I switch on the radio , the aerial doesn't rise , motor runs correctly [ same on turn off ] but no other sign of life
no button on top so tested in the approved manner , stuck a piece of wire coat hanger down the tube [ less than a foot possible ] , but doesn't move anyone stripped one of these , is repair possible ...it looks fairly easy to get it out , but don't want to waste my time if the only solution is to stick a piece of wire down the hole !

http://elsaweb.spaghetticoder.org/do...-KO/20840276/2 If the motor is heard to be working then its probably the geared cable inside the mast or the cog at the bottom (unless the telescopes are rusted down) You may get it working if you take it out and work on it but they are fairly simple things that if they have rusted up or got jammed it might be easier to speak to A8 parts and see if they have a working one to swap  .

thanks for that , looks easier that I expected , loosen one nut and pull down !
I was concerned that I would have to get the plastic moulding out of the wing and possibly mess up the paintwork ! worth a go !
