Didn't know that and won't argue on that for lesser D3's, but for the W12 I know it runs a larger tyre, just not sure what exactly. Therefore the 255/35's will not be correct

Thanks for all the replies guys...guess I'll have to check the rim size if/when it ever stops raining!

I knew there would be a catch...never as easy as just swapping things round.

Only pics I have are from the advert so I will copy/paste them here when I get a minute.

Interior seems 'unusual' to me...not the usual black/grey/cream I am used to.

I have the electric rear blind but is it supposed to have rear side blinds as well?

Not fully specced as doesn't have rear DVD entertainment pack, fridge, TPM, soft close doors or electric rear seats etc. but is a SWB and quite nice as it comes with extended leather & ACC which was something I really wanted.

Even makes the cluster more interesting to look at on a journey.

I thought the warning beep wasn't working as i have driven a couple of hundred miles on motorways with no sound but yesterday had it set to 50 on the Banbury->Stratford road to stay within the speed limit and it picked up a cyclist ahead, braked and sounded the warning. Pretty impressive.

Hey...I'm not precious about the thread so you can pretty much post anything in here - I realise the thread has a title but anything goes as long as you guys are happy with that?

Thanks & kind regards,
-=Glyn=-

Could be electric side blinds... hold up the window button beyond close and see what they do

PsYcHe: Tried holding the window button up but nothing

Mind you I am having trouble getting in & out of the back doors.

Sometimes they stay locked, then when I do finally get in I can't get out.

Must have a read of the Owners Manual and spend some time getting familiar with all of the controls.

Don't even know what those red buttons with the symbol of a seat are on the front of the door pockets in the front of the car.

When pressed they illuminate the word 'Off' and pressing again just toggles the state of the switch.

sarg: I'll be honest when I first saw the advert I wasn't keen on the interior colour but after seeing the car in the flesh and spending some time in it I have grown to like it. In fact I love it now. Girlfriend hates it. But its my car!

It's well...different. Called Amaretto apparently but I stand to be corrected.

Was described as Silk Nappa but think it may be Valcona according to the Option codes as listed as N5D

What is the difference between Silk (or Nappa) and Valcona anyway?

Kind regards,

No door blinds, can clearly see in photo 2 that there is a completely smooth top to the door card.....

Electric rear only with no side blinds was a perfectly viable option on the D3.

Incidently, it was an option in Germany on the D2, unlike us Brits that had all or nothing. Anyway, I digress....

You have electric rear seats then.. that's what the red button with 'off' is for in the rear.. should be the same in the front too.

You've probably also got the child locks on in the rear

Nope. 3 seatbelts in rear rules that out...

Red buttons I think are the standard memory on/off on the door pockets on the front doors he is referring to that turn of the seat/wheel/belt memory ?
