Default Need a favour - wheel to arch measurement please

Can someone do me a favour and take a measurement from the centre of the wheel to the edge of the wheel arch front & rear please?

Needs to be on standard sport/S8 suspension and preferably on 20’s but 18’s will be fine as the diameter is quite close.

Thanks
Rich

Front about 380mm

Rear (presently unloaded but with about 3/4 tank fuel) is closer to 370mm.

(standard S8 suspension and FE 20s)

Just be sure to lower the front more than the back! Something all 8s seem to have a problem with.

I wouldnt wind them too far down - I lowered mine at the front with coilovers and had to dial them back up slightly as it was too easy to rub wheel arch liners and also too easy to catch the front bumper on kerbs and speed bumps.
Where I've got it now suited me as it doesnt do either and accommodates all of the different wheels

Neil, yours being a 3.7 did it start at the same level as an S8 would, or does fitting coilovers cancel any differences anyway?

Personally I have enough trouble with kerbs due to the (standard) S8 low front to not want it any lower at all.

It was a Quattro Sport so already at the same height as an S8 spring wise.
The rears have stayed as QS rear springs and shocks as I couldnt get the coilover kit on the rears and still accomodate the 10.5" x 21" Khan Rear Wheels

Ok coilovers are on.

Fronts both measure 340mm which equates to a 40mm drop. There’s still quite a lot of thread left for additional lowering.

Offside rear is 340mm whilst the nearside rear is 355mm which equates to 30mm and 15mm drop respectively. Both the rears are on the lowest setting which is strange Is the petrol tank siutuated more to the drivers side on these?
