Ian,
Have you moved to renovated house? I wonder if you're happy with internal wall insulation. Looking at your photos I see 'aluminium' foil on top of insulation material, which makes walls non-permeable for internal moisture. No problems of with excessive moisture in the house?

Yup, no moisture here... House is sealed tight. No gaps, no trickle vents, all joints taped and sealed......
Air continously exchanged, and any moisture that comes out is recycled into the rainwater tanks...

That sounds like a hell of a project!
I started on a smaller scale project this year. Hence why I was driving an Impreza GX for most of the year! Three bedroom semi-detached house in the countryside, purchased by me and the missus and with the help of our family (mainly my tireless father), we've stripped it back to the beams, brick and concrete and rebuilt it from there. It's a complete transformation inside. Literally, hundreds if not thousands of man hours poured into the project. Blood, sweat and tears and sacks of broken horse hair and lime plaster. All the best getting your place sorted, this sort of thing is truly a labour of love with a hint of madness...

This gets the geek in me all excited, love all that stuff, don't understand why new builds are not like that from the get go tbh.
I have been renovating my gaff too and cabled the whole house for Internet, tv and CCTV distro etc its defo the way forward. Respect for the effort you've put in
