So my A8 has capabilities for TV, it did work until the digital change over so now it doesn't


So what do I need to get it working again?

A8 parts have dvb tuner for £800 supply only

Or you could fit the AV inputs, and get one of those 3rd party jobs for about 100 quid to get a decent one (though obviously it's not MMI integrated).

Is there an idiots guide to getting freeview into your a8 if you don't fancy spending £500+ for the odd occasions you want to use it? My analogue box will become redundant as of April where I live....

Mine's rns-e equipped but no idea if I can plug an external source straight into it?

Pretty sure it's easy to get AV inputs into an RNS-E. And it depends if you want to watch on the move, or stationary as to which type of tuner you need (cheap or expensive).
