Thanks for this, at least this appears to be in the engine bay and quiet easy to access.

I must sort this at some point. Yesterday whilst driving back to Dorset, after 130 miles the car suddenly felt all muggy inside and the windscreen started to steam up. This despite it being dry outside, so I can only deduce that the recirculation flap in the engine bay had decided to close and no fresh air was entering the cabin. After hitting the demist button to clear the screen, all returned to normal.

Did some digging around with this today, took the plenum covers off and removed the pollen filter.

Beneath the pollen filter are the flaps operated by this motor, and they are stuck in the open position which is a good thing I guess. Even when selecting recirc mode they stay open, so the motor or something there is not right. I believe I have identified the motor on the housing so somthing to attend to in the future as it looks a right pain to dismantle.
