There is a well defined etiquette around these things: the chauffeur thrashes the car and fills it up with Asda's finest (telling me it was BP Ultimate), the butler does what butlers do (and the maids) and the gardener does the garden (and the wife).

Standards are important, you know.
You really don't have a clue what your staff are up to Jim...

The chauffeur thrashes the car then tells the butler to fill it up at Tesco with the dreaded unleaded, while the butler's away the chauffeur is giving the butlers old girl one, when the butler comes back with the car the chauffeur is busy taking the maids out for lunches using your company credit card, then a little hanky panky before heading back to the estate. Finally when you're out at corporate dinners, the chauffeur then turns his attentions to your old lady, making sure he is in the good books and never to be sacked.

Don't ask me how I know

Sorry Brian, it's a very skilled job and lots of experience required.

Oh I almost forgot, you have that sort of experience in your job
