Hi There,

Just had a chance to have a play with adding the CD changer back in and I think it's a no go alas.

The grom spurs it's power from the CD changer cable so you can't change the ID or i'm guessing it doesn't have an ID ???

I managed to get the MOST bus working, the ins, outs and looping the cable so that the MMI would fire up, which says i have a continuous loop. The CD changer was powered and i could load/unload CDs however sound was from the GROM which worked fine. Having a look at sources I got CD/TV/Aux1/Aux2 and that was it. I was hoping for a second CD.

In my VCDS I have Media Player 2 which is unreachable with the GROM installed, which says that it's masking as this and picking up Media Player 2.

The CD Changer has a loop on it's power so i'm guessing that is how it ID's as Media Player 2 as I recall looking on VCDS before and seeing it presenting as that.

Any idea how I can change ID's of one of them....As I'm guessing switching the power cable ID will just present the GROM as Media Player X!!!
