Hi Guy.

Compatibility issue as mentioned before??
Could you post the year of your car and part number of the module you've fitted and I will check if it's compatible with your car.
LWB A8 4.2 Petrol it's all I know so just the year and that should be enough.

Do you know if the part number of the donor's module is exactly same as the one from your car??

Ok yes its a 2003 D3 .. and hear is a whole host od modules I can get hold of .. il have to go and pick the correct one from london.

This first one is the module I removed first





The rest are what they have in stock ....









the one I fitted ended in H44 ...and lets me log in as a W12 but will only accept and store W12 settings ... and all I get is a dash board like a xmas tree

foolishly I did not take a photo of the part I fitted I just assumed it would work...

ps im very very very grateful for all the help im at a loose end with this

I'm going out now for about 2-3 hours and will jump on it as soon I'm back.
Are you far from London?
Are they not prepared to ship it to you??
If not where are they Base coz if close to me I could pick it up and ship it over to you via ups next day??

That's for V6 diesels and V8 petrols.

V8 diesels and 10 and 12 cylinder petrols have a bit more choice.

From your picture am I correct in saying that a BD should work fine is that 8 cylinder + diesel too ?
