DarrenJoe90 and I are currently sat in the bar of the East Ayton Lodge the venue for this years annual meet.

With a cold beer in front of us we have been finalising the details for the event and doing a recce of the places you will visit.

As per the details on the A80c website 17 rooms have been provisionally booked and as I write I believe 8 rooms have already been taken. I will confirm with the management and post on the forums.

Rooms are being offered with 10% discount, so prices are as follows. Note, that prices are per couple/two people sharing on a bed & breakfast basis:

1 Night - £85.50


2 Nights - £142.50

Can I ask that you contact the hotel and book your own rooms and then post in just the one forums (of the four forums above) that you have done so.

So what is going to happen:

Friday 2nd July
Arrive Friday night for those staying for the weekend with dinner at the individuals behest.
Car Boot Drinks at 2000 with quality sounds by Mr Bose and his Orchestra.
Sleep when required.

Saturday 3rd or July

Welcome from the founder (all hallowed be Slim Tony's name) at 0930 in the car park.

>From 0945 until 1200 a Treasure hunt with Grand prizes for the winner, 2nd and 3rd places

The hunt will take place in the A64-A170-A19 triangle and no one is to disappear or spot aliens.
At the end of the hunt we will all meet at Sutton Bank and convoy down the A1M to Harrogate Audi
Harrogate Audi are sponsoring a Hog Roast and will present the New D4 Audi. There will also be the presentation of the Treasure Hunt Prizes.
The prizes will consist of:
Latest Vagcom Lead and software release.
£100 of detailing products tailored to the winners car colour.
A further prize of detailing products.

At approximately 1500 we will drive back to the hotel, stopping on the way for photographs. On arrival we can get cleaned up prior to the Finger Buffet in the evening.

Finger Buffet @ 1800 and relaxing is the order of the evening. A showing of the Edersee run 2009 DVD with maybe a little entertainment!

Sunday 4th July
Meet in the car park at 0930 and convoy down to York raceway.
Discounted admittance has been arranged and an area put aside for us to park. There will be an opportunity to watch the action and take your cars down the strip + further photo opportunities
