Default Airbag Light - Can't find Blue/White wires

Hey everyone,

I've recently purchased an Audi A8 D2 4.2 V8 and I absolutely love this car! The one thing annoying me the most currently is the notorious Airbag light. I've looked at other threads in this forum and decided to go the resistor route, so I ordered the 470 Ohm resistor and tried to fit it today.
Moved the passenger seat to make some working space, disconnected the battery and started looking for the Blue/White wire plug but I couldn't find it
I've attached a picture below, would love some help in trying to figure it out.

Welcome, pictures (of your car) are a must! Does it have sports (Recaro) seats with the moveable thigh support?

2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation". (A much rarer model than a D2 S8 by the way!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!
Finally: gone, but not forgotten.....
1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors.
e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)

And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

Pictures coming as soon as I find the right place and time for a photoshoot! They should be the comfort seats, is there a difference in the wiring?

Me, no as I've only ever had sports seats which almost inevitably fail in the thigh pad; but have you had a VCDS scan to confirm where the problem is?

Since both seats are made by Recaro, I'd guess the exact same sensors are used in both.
Unfortunately I don't have any equipment yet for scanning but I do plan on buying OBDeleven sometime soon.

Not necessarily, do yours have a moveable thigh pad?
If so, slide it forward, tilt the seat back and look underneath; the wires to the sensor in it should be obvious.

The comfort seats don't have the movable thigh pad or the troublesome sensor. You'll need to scan it to see what the code is.

Where are you? There may be a member nearby who can scan it for you

Guess I'm going to have to live with the Airbag light for a little longer then
Having someone help with scanning for codes would be perfect but unfortunately I live in Estonia
