Default New Boots

Got a pair of Eagle F1 Asymetrics fitted yesterday. First impressions are good. Road noise is fine, however they are affected by white lines, I haven't tried ultimate grip yet as I think they need a few hundred miles on them first.

The last pair of Dunlops Sports only did 16k and I'm not sore on tyres.

We shall see....

Well, that's half of an Ian Dury album anyway.

Make sure the pressures are spot on if it's tram-lining

The Tyre Fitter guy took the pressures from the fuel flap.

He cleaned up the wheel tyre bead lands thoroughly and was very careful to protect the rims with s slipper type arrangement on the tyre machine.

New valve carefully fitted, ie he did not use the rim as a fulcrum.

He knew the car needed to be put into Jack Mode as well, he was very professional unlike a KwikFit spotty youth

Best check your pressures with your own gauge, you'll probably find that all pressures vary by a couple of pounds

sorry, I wasn't too clear on that.......

I was referring to a certain track from that iconic album [& having seen the great man live (a very long time ago)] that was also released as a single

Not a concern on a D2 - On the D3 you have air suspension which will go nuts trying to level itself when you jack one corner up - unless you put it in Jacking mode, then it will just let it be...
