Default New battery for D3 A8

Battery totally dead so looking at new ones.
Saw this on Carparts4less - is it OK:

http://www.carparts4less.co.uk/cp4l/c/Audi_A8_4.2_2004/p/car-parts/car-electrics-and-car-lighting/electrical/car-battery/?444779008&1&6fd8b3ab8155aa082c0dcd4175eef59639402 2a7&000020

Any other recommendations??

Cheers

Should be like for like size wise. Sign in and leave it in your basket for 24 hours and they email you with a 7.5% off code. SAVE75 you could always try it now.

That's the one I got when my Varta died 6months ago.
Don't forget to code the battery afterwards.

The Varta and Bosch battery are made by the same company and identical apart from a label. I recently done some searching for a new battery for the Range Rover which also takes the 020 series 110Ah battery and these were the best deals I found.

I did buy the least expensive ebay battery at £96.50 which arrived at my door in less than 48 hours. I can highly recommend buying from that source

£109.85 here

£106 here

£96.50 here

If you're having battery problems then now is the time to buy before the frosts arrive and prices increase

I bought a Lion AGM 700 from ECP for £135, really pleased with it.

Still have my VARTA Silver i1 in the house. Less than 2 years old and knackered.
The new Lion one is better than this VARTA ever was, I think it was D.O.A. but claiming the warranty means posting it back (an most carriers don'r accept lead acid batteries) and waiting for them to test and they will probably say it's fine anyway.

I would never buy online again unless they have local branches.

Well - I ordered from Carparts4less last night (so missed out on the cheaper prices above) for £123 so OK with that (think Halfrauds want £170).

Is it easy to get the old one out (looks fairly easy)??
