Its been a while..... So a quick update.

WBAC has been pestering me to buy the Tesla, and the prices keep going up. I'm now up at £44250 for an 18 month old model 3 P with 12 K on the clock, as a straight trade buy.

It only cost me about £50K to buy, so pretty chuffed with that.

But, all that said - There is nothing, and I mean nothing, that I could sensibly replace it with.

If I take the £620 / month finance payment, and draw it out instead as salary or dividends, pay the taxes and buy something with the change (whilst allowing for the cost of fuel and road fund license) (and repairs if an older car) I'm going to end up with something very, very ordinary.

So, yes, I do miss the drama of a roaring, screaming petrol engine, and the noise, and the fumes, and the revs and vibrations (but not the leaks, complexity, servicing or fuel stops) but not enough to want to go back to one as a daily driver.

There is definitely space for a cheap bit of something on the side in my life, and I keep my eyes peeled, but for now, the Tesla is the only choice for me....
