ESP then Air Suspension light ... again
Well, this car is now officially getting on my nerves.
As you may have seen, since i bought her, i've had the suspension compressor & accumulator done, then just done the electric coolant pump recently. Driving along today, i caught the rear right wheel on the kerb at an awkward junction, it climbed the kerb then dropped. Within 10 minutes or so, the ESP light came on, followed by the air suspension light. Immediately i thought the compressor had failed...again, but upon inspection the car hasn't lost level. I can raise the car, then lower it back no problem. The fault clears when i turn the ignition off then restart. Has the wheel height sensor on the wheeel that took a knock been dis lodged /upset in some way .
All the other modules flagging codes are a consequence of the ride height issue by the looks of it .

I've had the wheel off, and all looks good to be honest.
It's the first time I've had the wheel off, but it has the ride height sensor similar to my old discovery, and it looks intact.

Just having a look at the codes and time stamp data , it's hard to say what's flagged what first .
Save that log , and do full clear down , see what comes back on after that , if ride height is still not working check ride height readings either via voltage or mm readings from each wheel , try in activations that the compressor can run . I'm just wondering if steering head angle sensor will stop ride height from working . Let's see how we look after the full clear down .....

Mmmm i think steering head angle sensor is the first i would be looking at .....lots of other modules will need info from it on the network .
If you go into steering head angle and go to the angle data block is there any reading from it when you turn steering left and right .

And .......... if you are getting readings does it show a zero figure when the wheel is in its straight ahead position ?

Well, being an amateur, and my first Audi.......
I managed to watch the sensor measurements, and all appeared to climb and fall as i raised and lowered the suspension. I managed to watch the angle sensor reading whilst turning the wheel, and it did indeed show "0" when pointing straight. As the car is under warranty from where i bought it, i've arranged to take it in on Monday. Low & behold, took the car out today, NO ESP LIGHT, NO SUSPENSION LIGHT!! The strange thing is, the light has not been on since i parked on a very steep hill yesterday. And i recall when it first came on, i was going down a very steep hill in Sheffield. Coincidence? I'll take the car in as planned tomorrow, but i suspect they'll say if they can't replicate the fault, they can't fix it. Let's see if it comes back on.
