I might have an Audi RS4 engine coming in soon if you fancied a real project? 4.2 Litre 420bhp model

Make a very unique car.

rs4 v8 fsi transplant is possible only within the last few months thanks to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFqu96otScs
the adaptronic.nl is the first ecu controller to operate the fsi system and drive by wire.
but the gm ls3 is still the best transplant for cost and power, only it's 5" longer that's why it needs the s5's gearbox.
shortest engine is s4/rs4, the one in middle is our s8's belt drive 4.2, and last is chevy ls series from corvette.
am happy to share the one year of research i've done on s8 engine repairs/alternatives,
me and mike are not secretive with our club buddys amar. just ask.

Thanks for your thoughts guys, but there doesn't seem to be much else for it. I will still have a D2, just not this one. The little bits that you take from her will also live on in your guys cars, so a happy ending in a way?
Scary thinking about how much I have spent on this car, just under £20k including fuel/running costs/cost of buying/upgrading in just over a year.

Still just seems such a shame though mate, without taking in to consideration the time and effort you made on it.

I imagine there will be a big queue to take parts from it.

I still think you should wait until the right engine presents itself Amar, when youve spent that much time and effort on the car you've just got to be patient and eventually an engine will present itself that will get her up and running again - thats gotta be worth it when you've spent that much time and effort to date . . . . DON'T PANIC AND DO SOMETHING YOU MAY REGRET!
I really hope that car stays in one piece. . .

OK on the other note how much for it with a dead engine? You can keep the gearbox if you wish. I would want everything else.

You like the colour that much!? I like it but its no black.

Does look very good after a little spruce up though. I don't think anyone has seen it after a fresh coat of polish/wax.

The pictures honestly don't do it justice and just couldn't pick up the depth and shine.
