What do you actually have at present? e.g. Symphony or RNS-D?

Finally: gone, but not forgotten.....
1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors.
e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)

And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

Single-DIN Concert 1? I have one of those in my 2.8 too.

I don't think there is an adapter for the FL single-DIN. I'm planning to print one for mine so I can use a JVC media player:

Have you looked at using line output converter to hook up a subwoofer? Seems pretty decent as I really wanna keep original stereo.

Wait, what? I thought this thread was about changing your original head unit? Are you just looking to change the speakers and keep the Concert head unit?

The Concert has amp outputs for front and rear so you don't need a line-level converter. Sound quality is pants with those anyway. I'm sure I've seen an adapter to get phono connectors from the Concert so you can drive an amp directly - I'll have a look.

Edit - found one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Adapter-C...I/283313111847

I had a pioneer SPH-DA120 installed a few years back. A huge improvement in sound and functionality vs. The RNS-D that was previously in there.

Ideally I want to keep concert stereo, replace speakers and add subwoofers to rear parcel shelf/boot, but I was under impression that it's not doable, clearly I was wrong.

That does look good. Double din seems to look a lot better than single din in these.

With this system you can also have Audi AMI, Audi digital TV tuner, Audi Bluetooth, AUX input, reversing camera
Buttons on your steering wheel with work with it. Voice control will work, activated via Push To Talk button on steering wheel
Installing anything non-genuine will devalue these cars IMHO
Nice Job!

I prefer the OEM look too personally and that RNS-E looks completely original sat in the D2 dash.

Presumably you still lose the DIS connectivity though?
