Guys can I point you in the direction of the Tyre Recommendations thread? Would you add your experiences please?

Tyres that have had good reviews on here:

Falken FK 452 - I have these on my 20s and they are good on the road but leave a bit to be desired on the track. Given the price of 'great' road wheels that can be pushed on the track I would buy these and a second set of wheels with track tyres.
Cooper Zeon 2xs - A8_Tony and I have used these on 20s and they are a great budget tyre good for high mileage and a bit of spirited driving.

TRACKING

Four wheel lase alignment is minimum capability to get this right. The only adjustment that can be made are:
Rear - Camber and Toe
Front - Toe and centering camber. Camber can not be adjusted on the front only centered. The process for this is to slightly loosen the sub frame bolts and using a crow bar physically move the sub frame slightly. If the alignment guy doesn't know this don't let him try.

Thanks All for the input, I'll check out the tyre thread too.
I dont have ACC so not an issue. My reason for asking is that Merc could not set my E55 up correctly at all (and at £250 a go that was too much). The only time it was done right was by a good tyre and wheel outlet I use. They took time to get it right and this had the air suspension set up too, the conti's 2's I had on that handled the 500hp well were good in all conditions even got me home in the snow and lasted an amazing 20k miles.

The falkens offer a good alternative imo for a reasonable cost and I can get them for about 150 a pop. Been quoted near 250 for the Dunlops.

Thanks ...I am sure I'll be back with more questions,
Cheers
Glyn
