Default 275 40 20

Would 275 40 20 work on D3? It seems to have enough room between the tyre and the upright but would like a confirmation if possible.

I have these on mine but I had to install 3mm spacers on the front wheels as there was contact between the steering tie rod ends and the tyre itself. Also at the rear the tyres come awfully close to the wheel well inner lining especially towards the front of the car. At high speed they chafe the carpet material. I wouldnt advise it. Next time I will be doing 265/40/20s. My car came with 265/35/20s

I already have 20mm spacers fitted, but it seems its more hassle that anything else. I'll stick with 275 35 next time round.
