Default Rear discs

Hello!

My rear discs are at the wear limit.

Anu suggestions for OEM quality discs?

Eurocarparts don't list them at all.

Are they a common fitment on any other Audi?

Thanks!

Don't think they're a standard stock item at most factors.. Just did mine the other week and they had to be ordered in (next day though). Not OEM, but feel as good at the minute, will see how they last.

Might be different for the facelift model.

Thanks for that.

The original Audi discs come painted, which makes a big difference to how they look through the alloys (The bells on them are painted cream/beige) and they seem to last pretty well (I can't find a receipt for the rears being replaced at any point) and I like the Audi receipt in the service history for bits.

What did yours cost?

are the backs on ours, the fronts on the other (Considerably lighter) cars?

Yes, the backs are the fronts for other cars in the VAG range. If you want aftermarket then EBC and Black Diamond do replacements. Black Diamond has a good rep.

If your happy with non OEM direct replacement try Mayle parts as supplied from GSF or europarts. Just type in the part number with no spaces and you'll get the Mayle alternative plus all the other vehciles it will fit.

Did these today, took me 30 minutes from start to finish, a very straightforward job.

When I first started looking after my first S8 I remember feeling intimidated by it, I'd say to anybody thinking of taking one of these on that you shouldn't worry, they're really well made and an absolute pleasure to work on!
